Wii U Wind Waker Port

There's a lot of subtle cues gave Wind Waker its style, I know the point of it is to make it seem "new" but really it's kinda like: at what point does Wind Wakers style cease to be Wind Waker style?

The point where Nintendo takes it and adds about 10x more bloom than necessary.

Does look nice. Don't really care how much of that bloom they add. If the game itself is still the same, disregarding visual effects, then it's all good to me.

My personal hopes are as follows -
They said they really liked how this looked when they were looking for an artstyle for the next zelda game. My hope is that this is just a mock-up idea, very basic just to show what it would look like, and that the final game, which they decided to re-release as they thought it looked good, even in this basic form, will actually look better/tweeked.

There is no gameplay so the screenshots might have just been for internal presentation of the style, and the finalised game will fix the bloom and other issues people are pointing out.

Haha, what is that, FSA? Never got that mode in the EU version.

Yeah, I believe it was called Tetra's Trackers. Tetra gave you tasks like finding items. It also had voice acting, which is probably why it wasn't ported along with the other modes.

I have always thought Four Swords on the Wind Waker engine would work really well. I always preferred 3D Zelda games to 2D...

Well... They did say they wanted to shake up the zelda formula, and "multiplayer" was on their list of things (along with dungeon->field->dungeon formula) to change. And they were testing this lighting on Windwaker.... So maybe they are doing a cel shaded 3D four swords game for the next zelda.

Sounds to me like that means the overworld could be more... Interesting, like in Skyrim or Assassin's Creed 3, where the overworld is just as interesting and alive and explorable as the towns and dungeons we're "meant" to be spending all our time in. I personally don't like Skyrim, but a game that open for exploration and sidequests (albeit with a more directed story) in Zelda would be great.
