After a good 300+ smash games, turns out wifi play is less laggy than local wireless.

But how.

I don't know anything about hardware so I'm the wrong person to ask about this. I just know I have zero lag on wifi, and a ton of lag on local wireless.
Jaceavy
Zero lag on wifi sounds amazing either way, and I don't really see a point in local wireless when you can have EIGHT people playing on one console at the same time.

Was referring to the 3ds when I mentioned local wireless. They patched that in an update, so now unless something is blocking it, you should always have an input lag of 2-4 frames or something. I don't notice it. All my for glory matches are on the 3ds, and the input lag isn't noticeable if you both have a newer router, everyone I've heard complain about lag has a shitty router.

I also bought the wiiu version a couple weeks ago if anyone wants to play my NNID is Try4se.

I've been Netplaying Smash 64, trying to break into the competitive scene for that one too.

I bought all SSB DLC for Wii U/New 3DS, as well as Got SSB Soundtrack and Mewtwo DLC

For starters practically everything that's considered an advance technique in the N64 smash is also in melee. However, there's this really bogus mechanic they call wavedashing, which you have to learn how to do, then learn how to utilize and do at any and every moment while also adding the previously refereed to techniques.
